Important instructions for installing ApE on a Mac

Gatekeeper will report that the application is damaged or that it is from an unrecognized developer and will prevent ApE from running.
ApE is NOT broken. I have just not paid a yearly subscription fee to be a member of the Apple developer club.

1. Move the application to your applications folder.
2. Open the Terminal app from Applications/Utilities
3. Paste in the following text:
   

   xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ApE.app

4. You can now run ApE as usual, with no further actions required.
